Scoreboard Apps clearly work for sport - especially when you consider the cost of dedicated scoreboards. However, they also work for any team based competition that can be enhanced by timing and scoring (i.e any class based learning game).
Applications:
- As a simple scoreboard in a sports hall with a projector (esp. if you have an Apple T.V attached)
- Class based team competitions in any subject where scoring and teams enhance engagement.
- Teacher Vs Student revision activities.
- Timed literacy/numeracy activities with score based progression.
