Geocaching
Geocaching is a great way to learn a range of geographic and deductive skills in the context of a fun & energetic activity. The App locates Geocaches near you and you can start any adventure to locate the hidden object at that particular location. The completed tasks is recorded to your online account and you can leave comments/notes etc. Users of the App can also set up their own Geocache challenges and register them on the website.
Applications:
- Learn general mapping skills (e.g. navigating with a compass, GPS coordinates etc)
- Improve spatial/geographic awareness
